Yes. If I had a vote. The EU would want Scotland in more than Scotland would want in.

    This is interesting:

a strategist at Société Générale, said that Scottish independence would “see sterling quite rightly plunge into the abyss”, with the remainder of the UK facing a current account deficit potentially of more than 8 per cent of GDP.

“Interest rates, which are probably set to rise next year anyway, may be set to rise a whole lot faster than anticipated if we get a good old-fashioned sterling crisis,” Mr Edwards said.

In an exclusive interview with Metcheck, the Scottish weather has said it will vote NO in the upcoming referendum. "We've been exporting snow, freezing temperatures and generally crap weather to the soft Southern lads and lassies for hundred years now, so why stop?" it added "Nothing gives us a bigger chuckle than seeing cars sliding around and English people trying to use umbrellas in 50mph winds!"

Would you vote no if it meant we were out of Europe in a few years? (Highly likely)

Don't be silly. Europe needs the UK. About time we had UKIP in power so they would treat us fairly instead of a cash cow.

Besides, I think the back of my fridge needs a clean....

PS: either Nick Clegg needs to use a better biro, or he has a really shaky hand.

Everybody else is wrong and only The Yes campaign are correct, well I guess after Thursday we'll see but I think HRH did put it quite well. Think carefully.

My worry would be that Scotland ends up out of the EU on the day of independence with no way back in.

That is not a dig by the way. I think being a master of your own destiny is a fine aim and can see why YES can win. However I think many of the answers provided by the YES campaign regarding the future are absolutely best case answers and are going to cause problems when reality and issues arrive...

Why would Scotland be out of Europe, oh because they are a new state? Then that also applies to rUK.

No ruk is the existing state so we are subject to all our current international agreements and there is a lot of rules about that.

What happens to an independent Scotland can only be answered with the answer no body knows. You can state what you want to occur and add the phrases we expect, we hope to the answers but they really shouldn't be given absolute answers because I think that will cause trouble down the line.

Now it is the case that an amicable split between countries is a rare event, so things may go swimmingly. However I wouldn't be promising people that things will be fine when they may not be

We have most of the Oil/fish/renewables, we are already EU compliant and are inside at the moment. It will happen swiftly.
