The argument that the prices will go up is based on the fact that Scotland will have to have it's own currency, and will be outside the Euro. Swiss and Norwegian supermarkets are certainly more expensive than UK or the Euro zone, so it isn't an unreasonable assumption.Last edited by BlasterBates; 12 September 2014, 08:10.I'm alright JackComment

Better to wait until the general election campaign when the people that are quoting Cameron and Milliband's words as gospel right now are greetin' into their caramel macchiato when they find out they have been lied to again. When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment

The reason there is no history of similar break ups in prosperous economies is because revolutions only happen in times of hardship. unfortunately the arrogant idiots behind the yes campaign have picked the wrong moment to fight for independence thinking that the power of their personalities and their rhetoric will win over the scots.
The truth is that there are just not quite enough chippy Scots with inferiority complexes who are prepared to cut off their noses to spite their faces. This is why the No vote will prevail.Last edited by DodgyAgent; 12 September 2014, 08:13.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

The biggest problem Scotland has is that runs a big deficit even on the assumption the North Sea oil is Scottish, which no-one really disputes and Salmond just waxes lyrical about the advantage of being independent is so that they can spend even more money.Last edited by BlasterBates; 12 September 2014, 08:31.I'm alright JackComment
