Why do folks keep thinking Scotland's succession would automatically result making a politician a King. A good many people want shot of monarchy and a new one!

    Republic now!

I worked in Dublin and could watch BBC programmes. I've watched BBC programmes whilst on holiday in Northern France. I'm sure there will be a way to watch them in an Independent Scotland.
I'm sure they'll soon kick off once they find iPlayer has been blocked.

I think we're referring to how Mr Salmond thinks of himself rather than the actual reality of the situation.

It seems to wind up the opposition. Keep it up I say.

But I think the point is that an 'independent' Scotland would want to watch home grown tele...

And with a reduced licence pool and therefore less money coming in the quality would be bobbins so people would continue to watch foriegn (e.g. English) tele.

This making an even bigger mockery of Scottish independance than many of the other issue already being raised.

The signals travel further over water though, people from Glasgow used to go to the west coast and Largs in particular for the day to watch the FA cup.

I don't think Eastenders would reach far into the great interior once the transmitters were switched off.

Take the High Road, The Krankies Summer Special, Dr. Finlay, Top Club, those godawful New Year show, I don't think so....
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Only an Excuse used to be good. Haven't seen it in years though.

                    Fair Game was good too.

If there was a Scottish broadcaster it would simply buy the BBC shows which would be charged per head of population, nowt would change really.

The amount of compete tulipe that comes out of this referendum debate is beyond comprehension.
