Since when? I frequently hold and use my phone in a car. As long as I'm not driving (in the same way that NWP2C said), I wasn't aware of any law preventing it.

A strongly worded letter to my MP should be in order if you're right!

You can only do that if parked up with engine off.

I would wait until the iphone6 comes out next month as prices will drop, the new HTC One M8 looks very nice, better build quality that the nasty plastic that Samsung uses (I've got an S4), and the only reason for not choosing it has gone away now that HTC have included a micro SD card slot.

This includes using it as a SatNav / Music Player or any other function, as long as the device has the ability to make/receive calls.

I'm sure that is the case too.

I'll be waiting for the larger screened iPhone 6 - supposedly due between the end of this year and early next.

20% off on the corporation tax of course as it will, after all, be supplied to an employee

I'm planning to do the same add a 12" MacBook air retina, hit the £2k barrier and save that little bit extra.

Beware banking and other malware if you go the Android route.

My Samsung managed to pick up a virus from a wireless connection.

This sort of thing is way too frequent

                      - Make calls
                      - Send texts
                      - Send whatsapp messages
                      - Send emails

Q10 does it better than any other phone and I can't understand why this hasn't caught on. I am currently typing on a KEYboard. It has keys and I don't need to look at the keyboard while I am typing. Same goes for my Q10. Touchscreens make me sick.
I'm also a BB10 Q10 user and have to agree that this is the best phone I've ever had. Yes it has a keyboard but is touchscreen with a brilliant swipe based method of navigation. BB10 is very much 21st century. All the apps I need (Android apps can be installed and are held in a secure area so as not to compromise overall security).

I have an i-phone (from current client) so can compare the two. Q10 / BB10 every time.

Bacchus - Google Q20 Blackberry Classic (to be released by the end of the year). I reckon that is just what you're looking for. I'm waiting to get a hands on play with the Blackberry Passport.
