And, just like in Vietnam, motivation is far more powerful than troop numbers or fire power. I bet there aren't that many of the regular army who actually want to be there, never mind the conscripts. Whereas, there is no lack of motivation on the Ukraine side.

Our army, and even the reservists that were called up, are trained professionals. They could see a purpose for what they were doing.

Hitler beat himself. Thinking his army could fight on multiple fronts. He also didn't count on the Russians happily sacrificing millions of their own poor fighters
