Israel is a forced state put bang in the middle of mainly Arab/Muslim countries. Maybe a better plan would have been one of the US states could have been given to the Jews. They would be more welcome there.

They wouldn't put up with that as they are a Christian country.............

I never quite understand why people get so attached to one small geographical area. If there were people maintaining a sustained campaign of terrorism and violence in order to get me out Oxfordshire I'd probably just think 'oh well' and move a couple of miles to Northants. No biggie. Certainly not worth dying for.

I think most people would stand up and fight for their home.

Its a quasi-democracy really and their economy is highly subsidised by the west. The Israeli's keep voting for the right who want to clear the land of arabs and take the land over. So I'm sure the Israeli's want peace, just not with the Palestinians.

In the 90's they voted left. They wanted peace and supported the Oslo agreements. What did they get in return. Kids being blown up in Cinemas and Pizza houses. That's why now they tend to vote rightwing. It's all about security

Land gained from Jordan, and Egypt was ceded over to the Palestinians, in return for peace. The land was then used to site rocket launchers even closer to Israeli territory.

This turns out not to be the case. That's why there are so many Syrian refugees, for example. The reason there are far fewer Palestinian refugees is that they unable to leave. Not because the Israelis are preventing them (they'd be glad if they all left), but because the surrounding nations close their borders.

Have you ever seen the state medical facilities which are open to all (I have)?

"Arab Towns" - this is a massive generalisation and is not true. As an example, Tel-Aviv Yaffo (Jaffa). I hesitate to use this to counter your argument, since it is the exact opposite? Perhaps the Arab town that you refer to are towns that choose not to integrate are the same as settler towns in the West Bank, who choose to settle in Palestinian territory? Both settled by deluded fools.

So done the touristy thing then. Yeah when I travel I kinda think...its not so bad here. I'd kinda like to live here. But then you read the newspapers speak to the locals and think "no chance".
