its a real pity, the whole situation seems to a tragic accident / cock up. Look forward to the Lawyers cleaning up on compensation claims.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much. -
To be fair, the Met did carry out an internal inquiry in 1985 that found that they had been "culpably negligent", so they weren't that slow off the mark.
Shame they kept it secret until now
