I once got asked some questions that were my questions I'd set for a manager for interviews in a previous role eons ago.

And I still got some wrong.....

Also in one interview I got involved into what turned into a heated debate about RAID 0+1 vs RAID 1+0 - got the job though, permie one I'm afraid but it was the last time I went dark-side......

Haha, I had a debate with the Technical Director at my last place during my interview. It was really one of semantics - he'd asked a "Can you" question, when he should have asked a "Should you" question. I knew you could, because I'd had to do it past of some really horrid hacky solution! Also, after a few years, the Ops Manager (Who did my first interview) admitted he'd laughed and was sort of impressed that one of my answers boiled down to "I could learn it, but I haven't, because I don't learn things I won't use".

Always been tempted to answer a question like "Can you describe a situation you used tech_whatever?" with a simple "Yes I can" and leave it at that with a sort of Mark off Peep Show vibe....

The thinking is no he didn't so he is blaming the interview process.

I get the logic, and theoretically it's a great question. But I'd just give you a funny look and say "I have no idea".

Why on earth would anyone honestly remember that?

Questions I think should be asked are "why?" type questions. So many people do so much without really understanding why they're doing it.

When you ask someone "why" you can easily tell if they really get it or are just going with the flow.

                Lets look at the facts:-

                1) We've never met.
                2) You dont know me.
                3) I've never had any technical discussions on this forum so you've got no idea of my technical knowledge.
                4) You've got no idea of how I act in real life.

Yes, I might have views about life/agents/clients on here but it doesnt mean I like this is real life.

Yet, apparently, this gives you enough information to label me as 'clueless'? Hmmm.

That's a really good response actually. However, it did take a week, which leads me to conclude that you outsourced the writing of it

No, your previous 4930 posts provide us enough evidence to show that you are clueless.
