In fact, the thread count thing is complicated by stuff like deleted threads, and the fact that there were a small number of trial threads made back when the forum moved to vBulletin (in 2005, was it?), so the home page says there are currently 96,485 threads.
But the thread IDs have reached 100,000 and that's all that matters at this stageComment
