Orgtel - opinions and views please

    Hi,
Newbie here, just joined. I am interviewing for a contract gig with a financial instituition with Orgtel as the agency.

As it's my first ever contract, I would like to have views/opinions about Orgtel (do you recommend, issues with payment, do they pay on time, etc)?

I did search this site but the posts and info was quite old.

    Many thanks

General rule of thumb - no news equals good news.

          Thanks for your input.
Would prefer to not disclose the client at this point.

Just another agency to me . They pay on time but play games when it comes to rate negotiation / hike, stand your ground.

Just digging up an old thread here.

I applied for a role through Orgtel on Jobserve.com, and yesterday they called me about it, wanting me to send them a few lines on what would make me perfect for the (large banking) client.
The trouble is they also wanted me to provide two references prior to submitting the application to the client saying the application "coversheet has to be complete to submit or the internal team will not submit it to the hiring manager. ".

Hmmm it could be true, but I have grave reservations that it might have been a fishing trip.
So I refused the request, and have heard nothing more yet.
Did I take the right decision I wonder?

Now I've had an email back, over 15 lines, saying blah blah very honest etc. And they have enclosed a screenshot of an application form with the end client's company logo, with a field for references on it.
So I'm not sure what to do now. I wouldn't have thought the agent would go to the trouble of faking a client application form just to engage on a fishing trip. But then..

Give them the details of your last two agents.
