If it´s only one day late I would just be persistent with the Admin. Don´t see this is a reason to stay at home because the cost of one day away from work is more than interest you lose on payment being a day late, and if you miss a day and your finances are in the poo, you put yourself further in the poo by doing this. It would be pointless. Even if this results on them being punctual for the next payments, you still lose out.
Sometimes late payment is due to a cash flow problem, i.e. the agency is going bust usually though you find the payment gets delayed more and more as time goes on. If this happens you need to look for a new contract.Last edited by BlasterBates; 20 July 2013, 11:35.I'm alright JackComment

One day late is often an admin issue - but I still call the agents if the money doesn't hit the account on the day the payment advice states.
I've never, in over 7 years, had a payment later then 1 day overdue.Comment

Being a director you also have a legal obligation to do the right thing for the shareholders regardless of your opinions and principles. Not turning up and not getting paid for the time you don't turn up is a good result in this case how?
What a waste of a thread.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment
