Either way none of you options above are appropriate

My wages are always paid by my employer on time.

Speak to your employer - your issue is with them, not the client or agency.

Lucky you. My employer is a right miserable twunt, never pays on time, shoddy communication, no reviews or wage rises. Proper shower of tulip.

It is not clients fault but probably some poor lady in the office who made a mistake.
          1) Seasoned contractors don't use umbrellas
          2) There is an umbrella section to these forums that might make up for the lack of information in your original post

If it is some poor lady in the office that has made a mistake not turning up for work is a measured response how?

I get pay rises every few years - but then if you are paid nearly SFA by your slave driving employer they have to provide you enough to at least eat unlike this employer.

Mine waits months to pay expenses let alone discusses wage rises. Those appear to be random almost as if they need advice and agreement from some 3rd party.

It's lucky Psychocandy does't work for any of us then isn't it! He would have popped a blood vessel by now.
