You see we need the facts. Then we can advise you to ring the umbrella first thing on Monday, confirm that they have received money from agency and ensure they pay you.
And if they haven't received the money you can hassle the agency.
Either way none of you options above are appropriate
Yeah I'm just looking for some advice , tough crowd you got here.
Umbrella, yes this is not too bad but not something I would like to happen often! I wont make a fuss but just checking what seasoned contractors action are.
It is not clients fault but probably some poor lady in the office who made a mistake.
1) Seasoned contractors don't use umbrellas
2) There is an umbrella section to these forums that might make up for the lack of information in your original post
If it is some poor lady in the office that has made a mistake not turning up for work is a measured response how?

Lucky you. My employer is a right miserable twunt, never pays on time, shoddy communication, no reviews or wage rises. Proper shower of tulip.
I get pay rises every few years - but then if you are paid nearly SFA by your slave driving employer they have to provide you enough to at least eat unlike this employer.

Mine waits months to pay expenses let alone discusses wage rises. Those appear to be random almost as if they need advice and agreement from some 3rd party.
