The last time I was looking, I had several versions of my CV each tailored to a particular area.

I have had three calls in the last 2 weeks with prospects and they are workign off a 2 year old CV. Its time to update it/them.

I'm in the process of updating mine now with all the stuff I've learnt here and I've over 2 months left to run on my current contract, but if I don't do it now I bet I'll forget.

Got a gig after 4 weeks bench time! not a great rate though.

Still you got something though, the upside of contracting is that you can switch contracts after a few months or renegotiate a better rate

Earning something per day is better than earning nothing per day and burning through the warchest. Well done, its a tough market IMO

I shoot off my CV to basically everything that comes in, with very little call backs. Now I'm thinking of modifying my CV to fit the market requirements

Anyone else find this is the case right now?

Same here...most times recruiters are calling back to say the client is undecided or the position has gone on hold...

This has happened to me about 3 or 4 times over the last month - role looks promising, client interested but then change their mind last minute. I know it is the case because the recruiters keep calling me back to update me on the role and check my availability.

Only just started looking but getting calls, lots of opportunities (I am not a PM though), will see how it goes if any of these turn into anything more

I've had a few of these over the last month. Client interested in my CV, wants to talk but then nothing for weeks. Agents swear roles are still open. LOTS of permie roles coming my way though...
