I've seen plenty of permie work advertised lately, fortunately I've another 2 months to run on my current so I'll look for another contract role in a month. I don't fancy going back to permiedoom one bit

Got an offer, approved by several levels of management apart from the final ****er who pulled the plug on the whole thing. 6 weeks on the bench now. Market looks cr4p. Pissed off.Comment

That's what I do and it seems to work. I'm hoping its the market myself! I've been in the game for 6 years, my last contract was with Microsoft as a subject matter expert and I can't land a 3rd line support role in 2 months (although I did turn down 1 gig).
Horrid times for me, wish I hadn't have taken a 3 month break last year without even looking at job sites..
