I waited 4 months once. I was the best candidate but an internal permie came up. It did not work out.Comment

Not quite sure what the point of a question like this is except for the OP to spot and answer he likes and stick to it.

6 weeks - one months notice and then 2 weeks holiday which I already boked. I had to call in sick for the last 2 days of the notice period so that I could start the new contract for 2 days before my 2 week holiday.Comment

Maybe poorly structured question.
Is it either of these:
1) How long has a client been prepared to wait for you to join the project?
or
2) How long have you waited to start the project post being offered the role?Clarity is everythingComment
