    Need good accountant

    Hi,

I would like to move from my existing accountant to another one. Could anyone advise me of some good accountants. I would also like to know if anyone uses Nixon Williams services and how good are they? And also how is SJD? Which one is good among them..

    Thanks in advance

Use the search option and look for 'Accountant'. This get's asked weekly so people won't bother responding like they used to.

Do you want an accountant or an accountant service provider? (ie - a company as opposed to one guy/gal sorting everything out)

Been with NW since last summer and no complaints so far, they have been quite helpful on many things. I pay 88 + VAT. IMHO I would avoid Paystream at all costs.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

Don't they essentially provide the same service ? Anyway as suggested to OP do a quick search.

Don't forget that you can still trade under "Accountant" without having any qualifications so make sure you do your own due diligence on the firm you appoint.

This is a big decision as you need to put a lot of trust in your chosen advisor.

On the other hand, if they mess it up, you are free to sack them! (Sorry, I watched The Apprentice tonight).
