I was taking about the 'you reap what you sow' comment, made no sense, and one can only go by ones experiences, but it's funny how certain firms come up time after time...

If you are reasonable with them you have a better chance of getting any problems resolved to mutual satisfaction...simple rule of life not just dealing with agencies

When agencies spam you with fake adds and emails despite being asked to be removed, being reasonable quite doesn't get the problem resolved to mutual satisfaction. They just keep doing it and doing it.

Patronising 'pearls' at that. Still I guess if you are posting on other threads that you're desperately looking for work it pay's to suck up to the agencies in the hope that one of them will throw you a bone in the form of an interview...

Jeez, 7 years!!! You think the same employees, same processes, computer systems etc will be there 7 years later???? You can have a bad experience that might be a one off, you can't judge a whole company on one bad experience and then hold it against them for 7 years.

Well he's survived for at least 7 years. I'm a great fan that if you get bad service move on and don't use again, hopefully if more people did the same thing we would get such crap service.

Yep agree. The same applies in any walk of life. Get bad service from a shop? don't go there again. Good service and they get more of my custom. Am now waiting for Damon to bless me with some 'patronising pearls of wisdom' along the lines of I should thank the shop for the bad service they provided as its probably my fault anyway... some people have no self respect.

Which bit. I have worked with Hypen before and would agree with everything he has said..

I can never understand these threads where a contractor wants to slate and entire recruitment agency of a few 100 people. You have one bad experience with one recruiter and it is the companies fault? I have been through the best agencies with a crap agent and the worst agencies the lady I dealt with was one of the best I have met. You are dealing with individuals in the most case.

Not really, it saddens me that a fellow contractor has no sense of self respect and is so desperate for work that he will forgive agencies anything, your call, i would rather look my children in the face knowing that I still have my integrity.Keep your patronising pearls of wisdom to yourself.
