People have been known not to log on for years but still able to if they want.

In fact I think it's quite a good idea.

I don't understand if some one is taking advantage of loop holes in the law/rules, why can't that be fixed.

Because nobody has given documentary proof that it happens. You can't do anything without it.

Had exactly the same this week also. See my other thread.

Sent me email with details of how interviews would work, payment terms and draft contract. But when I complained and said, all well and good they just said of course that can wait until offer and backed down.

I'm wondering if they just try it on to make things less hassle for themselves but don't push it.

In terms of everything else though, the agent was OK, and the rate was decent enough so we'll see what happens.

Not the best experience with Silverlink unfortunately. Completely disorganised arranging the phone interview and then, they're one of those who you can't get hold of afterwards (when you haven't got it).

They still try and send the contract out in advance as well. I told them no and they backed down on that one. Haven't read it.
But someone at the start of the thread mentioned sick notes etc. Sod that - none of they're business if I'm ill and can't attend. Aint going to hassle of getting a sick note.
