My company applied for my SC Clearance in Jan and its now April (3months) and still I have not received my clearance.
My company have simply said its still going through the motions of being checked however a month or so back I was told when chasing it was at its final stages.

Can anyone shed any light as to why it might be taking long and how to approach this matter in getting more details?

        Thanks

Did you get as far as being given a logon to a Portal so as to complete the Clearance questionnaire?

If not, then its not likely that they have down owt...
I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

No logon, simply many forms that I completed in Jan and send back to the company for them to send on.
What is the logon about and how does it tie in with the process?

                  Clearance DBS website

Has anybody managed to use IE11 or Chrome to process the online application? Apparently this only works on IE 8 or 9.

I'm off to try Android...Nope that doesn't work either

                  Thanks
