As you said that you've read a lot of posts on this forum you are probably not too surprised that a number of people have not been happy with your post - it's normal here. The main things to note are:

    1. What that company is doing with visas sounds highly dodgy to me and I'd be surprised if it was legal.

    2. The UK is still in a very bad state following the credit crisis and a large number of contractors do not have work at the moment. It's really tough right now for anyone who finds themselves out of work. So the likelihood of you finding something here at the moment is not high.

    3. A number of the people on this forum are not currently working and so it will cause upset if someone is asking about the best way for them to come to the country (in a dodgy manner) so that they can try to take the jobs that are there.

Just thought I'd explain why you got the reaction you did.

Maybe the OP really ought to read up what he is talking about first as well....

      From the website...

If you are an employee or prospective employee of BITE we will give you as much help as we can. The help we can offer will vary according to personal circumstances. Note that we are not a Visa Services company and can only offer you general advice about Visa types and the UK contracting market.

If they are willing to sponsor you this is an under the table agreement and is very naughty.

I'm new to this forum and new to the whole adventure of doing contract work in the UK. I've gone through some of your previous posts and have a few questions for those of you who have already gone through the whole process .

Do any of you guys know of any other companies that offers the same services for contractors where it comes to sponsorship as Bite? I've gone through the post that was written in 2007 and from some of your comments I take it that there are other companies in the UK with the same services and was wondering whether any of you know or have worked through any of these companies and which ones you would recommend? I'll need to come over on a Tier 2 work permit, but to find a job without having a work permit seems to be a bit troublesome seeing that most of the companies want you to be in the UK so you can do interviews.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated

"Many people don't realise that the Immigration policy in the UK appears to be tightening as a result of political pressure based on general public opinion. As a result the requirements to gain a Highly skilled migrant visa or a work permit are and have been revised and a limitation just before at the last election reducing the work entitlement to 1 year for 2 year holiday working visa holders. This has made it more difficult for people to either obtain, re-new or maximize the use of their work entitlement of their respective visas.BITE Consulting can assist prospective employees in the IT industry to gain a suitable visa. They will assist suitable candidates through providing active support and advice and recommend them to an established solicitor where a 10% discount is obtained if necessary. Do you know any one who is an IT CONTRACTOR AND NEEDS VISA SUPPORT SERVICES?Are you or your friends finding it harder to gain work visa? What is the perception back home is this going to stop people travel? Please let me know your experiences or views."

The BITE Consulting Group will apply for workpermits for existing consultants on 2 year holiday working visa's or may have a client willing to do so.
To find work is not easy nor is it difficult if approached it the right way. Most people develop six week memory loss when talking to their friends forgetting the battle to get established when first arriving.BITE consulting has established a service to market potential candidates out to the vast amount of organisations in the UK and can help ensure they launch their IT Contracting career in the UK.WE WOULD EXPECT TO GET MOST PEOPLE A CONTRACT POSITION WITHIN 3 WEEKS OF ARRIVAL!They do this by MARKETING YOUR CV after checking its suitability for the uk market where the majority of cv's are scanned electronically for suitability before if ever being read. They also induct and train you into the UK market so you know your rate and how to promote the interest in you managing your contract to ensure you it works for you.Another benifit is you need to have a suitable limited company for your needs that does not breach the visa regulations and minimises the tax you legally pay.Matching this is part of the service and will become even more important as the tax laws change in March 2007 for contractors using managed service limited companies or composite limited companies.
I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU CAN FIND LOTS OF INFORMATION ON THE BITE SITE.
www.biteconsulting.co.uk or alternatively www.getaukjob.co.uk which carries some good job and visa links.
                  It is from 2007 though.

Anyone fancy a late winter / early spring holiday?
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
