    Increase in vacancies?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a distinct increase in :
    • Relevant jobs advertised
    • "position" phone calls to the mobile
    • emails from agents who've found your CV in job sites

Given we're in a "slow" period things may be looking good for all our folks in that looooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggg bench.

On my current gig, my contractor phone is off but the phones of my fellow tarts have been called with increasing frequency over the past few weeks. Someone appears to be looking for someone - though it's not clear how many are fishing calls - and I'm certainly getting more emails.

Noticed a small but steady increase in amount of new positions out there over the last 3 months

You asked a question, we are simply giving you an answer. What do you want us to do? Lie?

I am seeing an increase in demand in my area, most are perminant though, a few contracts, although i'm still in contract so whatever.

I do think alot of stuff is comming unstuck as there is less uncertainty (this has been corroborated by others i know in my sector), although Darling didn't help with his weakass budget that will probably **** the UK's credit rating.
