My first job was July '79 as an apprentice motor mechanic. My mum still has my first pay packet slip. Think it was £117 take home pay - inc. overtime - for the first month.

Still, you could by a house for a fiver back in those days!

            I started on about £1200/year in 1973...

My current "job" such as it is () started at £16 4 years ago...

But then, my needs (at my advanced age) are simple.

And I bought my house for cash when I was a contractor...

I started on £9600 back in 1990. Don't know how I managed on that back then. Well I do know actually , I was still living like a student for the first 5 years.

I started on £8500 back in September 1986. It was a good salary back then for a first job.

another one. this is actually very reasonable.

as a recent grad i would be extremely happy with 150 a day!

I currently have an urgent contract vacancy to be based in the East Midlands for 9 months.

Our exclusive client is seeking a Junior Programmer / Developer. You will require some knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL.

Ideally the client is looking for someone who has a strong academic background and is able to demonstrate an ability to learn quickly. Possibly a recent graduate looking to further their experience within Analyst / Programming?

The daily rate is set to be around £150. If you are interested then please reply with an updated CV, I will call you to discuss.

                      Regards,
