    SAP Solutions Designer?

Is there such a shortage of SAP experience out there that now agencies are looking at my CV for such roles?

The last time I worked in SAP was 8 years ago on version 4.6c! I would love to get back into it and into Netweaver etc but somehow I doubt the client is going to want to pay me £500 a day to let me re-train.

I don't think I've ever seen that job title used hence the agents can't rely on CV searches to come up with right people to ring. Might be your big chance, get your CV rewritten asap.

I think milan has a book you could borrow if you asked him nicely.

Haven't done it for eight years? Caught in the 2000 slump, I guess. I managed to hang in there.

What's a solution designer? ABAP developer? Or is in functional? If the former, then nothing too much has changed, and if the latter, there are plenty of large companies that are still on 46c in the UK and in Europe.

And yes, there's a lovely shortage at the moment.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Slump? No I just changed sectors and haven't looked back until now. Had I been more confident (or just knowledgable about contracting) I would have just stayed in SAP and gone ABAP contracting back then.

Solutions Designer, working with a Solutions Architect, is what I was told. Anyway moot point, I'm in a good contract for now and have decided to stick with my original plan. Whatever comes may come, I'll deal with it when I have to.
