Business Model

You know, all this b*llocks highlights that fact that there's quite a sound business model here.

All you need to do is set yourself up as an agent and trade normally for a while. Then, when you need some extra cash for that new Maserati, or a holiday home somewhere, all you need to do it stop collecting cash from the client. Pretty soon the company will run out of money to pay the contractors and will appear to be insolvent. As a responsible (!) director you'll then do the right thing and put the company into administration, thus gaining you a good degree of protection from those whinging contractors. It's then a simple matter of flogging off the order book (with all that money neatly stashed in the clients' accounts) to an "independent" company (ie, NotMyWifeHonest Limited) while simultaneously setting up another employment agency to get the ball rolling again.

And here's me trying to earn an honest living.

Today morning i have called BDO they advised me to join ESS recruitment who bought VERITAS and continue the contract...So do any one get chance to talk with ESS and how many people are Joining..Can any one please advice me..thanks

ESS is in Twickenham, You might want a look at them aswell.

They are part of Acumen in Milton Keynes, a review of the list of directors of REC (the Rec & Emp Confed) and the list of acumen is also interesting reading.

Did anyone hear from ESS ? Some one from Ess group called me and said they are going to send e-mails to all the contractors ? Did anyone else hear from them ?

Did anyone move to different agents ? And is it mandatory that all contractors move to this agency ?
