Bit of an issue that im hoping someone can advise on… partner asked some random questions a few weeks ago about ever having a CCJ or defaults etc… I answered no, as I’m embarrassed and would hate him to think any less of me. Didn’t think anything of it then a few days ago found out it was for SC for a contracting job…. We have no linked accounts or finances/bills etc so this won’t show on his credit file…. But if they check mine it will show (I have a couple of defaults due to going on a dmp. Been paying the DMP for over 1 year without issue and all debt it now managed. No CCJs)
im absolutely fine to disclose this to the vetting people… but my worry is they will think he lied when actually, he didn’t have any idea about my finances. Can I get in touch with the NSVS to let them know about this? Or as its sole debt in my name, and not the applicant, am I overthinking it?
