It can and it is. If you happened across it by accident on a hike, you’d think it quite impressive. In all other circumstances, it’s a massive disappointment compared to other famous parks (I say that having visited all of the major US national parks and most US states). It’s very impressive when seen from the air in a private helicopter, and with the amount of money you are earning (based on other threads), it’s the only way to see it.
Niagra is very like Vegas, a big shopping experience.
If you want to see impressive falls, go to the smoke that thunders - best seen at the start of the rainy season. A lot of tourists want to see it in full flow, and take helicopter rides over it, but in full flow the spray is several hundred metres high, so from your chopper all you see is spray not the magnificence of the falls.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment
