I went to a developers conference in Vegas.

Some of my colleagues literally stepped off the plane and disappeared for four days only to resurface worse for wear for the flight home.

I had to collect one such colleague from one of the casino bar on my way to the coach. He had managed to acquire a large but thankfully temporary dollar bill tattoo on his neck and had his arms around two rather brassy ladies.

When you were in Vegas, what way did you go to get to the Grand Canyon?
It’s very impressive when seen from the air in a private helicopter, and with the amount of money you are earning (based on other threads), it’s the only way to see it.

Niagra is very like Vegas, a big shopping experience.
If you want to see impressive falls, go to the smoke that thunders - best seen at the start of the rainy season. A lot of tourists want to see it in full flow, and take helicopter rides over it, but in full flow the spray is several hundred metres high, so from your chopper all you see is spray not the magnificence of the falls.

It can and it is. If you happened across it by accident on a hike, you’d think it quite impressive. In all other circumstances, it’s a massive disappointment compared to other famous parks (I say that having visited all of the major US national parks and most US states). It’s the Disney of waterfalls surrounded by tat.

I stopped once. For 10 minutes. Then carried on driving to Toronto.

Or you could just go to Vegas anytime you wanted, I guess

You're not going to save that much, a couple of grand. Personally, I wouldn't feck around with that to save a couple of grand, especially if the OP isn't billing (and they shouldn't be if it's an opportunity to gain more business, rather than a permie handhold).
