I'll let the regulars tear you a new one but the reality is that if it's with the same client you don't just get to choose.

If different clients, do your homework as to which is better for you. Consider with the £700 per day inside contract possibly contributing a significant amount to a pension, particularly if you can make use of salary sacrifice.

One thing I would need to consider is when the remote working ends, is the £700 a day inside enough to pay any travelling costs

You thought about learning a bit more about what you do so you can actually make your own decision how you earn your 6 figure income without having to ask a bunch of strangers? I mean, it's hardly the first time anyone has asked this and it's not like there are thousands of resources on the net that will help you calculate the outcome?

Inside hands down. Even if you get taxed at 50-60% inside you rate is almost double. So you can't lose
