Yeah I am not doubting it just haven't seen it. I work in data too and have to have full access to do my job but have only had 2 perm data jobs in my life, rest have all been contracts. Both perm jobs I left on good terms and had good relationships so maybe that helped. Who knows. -

true but not usually as portable or reusable as a contact list of customers.Originally posted by LondonManc View PostNot just sales, IP is very important in many markets too.
It's a given that sales people, when they move, always bring some pet customers. It's why sensible companies have sales people on quite long probation periods, as they bring a boat load of business for the first period. If the sales dry up after 3 months then that's all they;ve got.See You Next TuesdayComment

That's a bit like CEOs - if all they've got to boost profits is to suggest job cuts then bin them off. They're just a good BSer who presents well.Originally posted by Lance View Posttrue but not usually as portable or reusable as a contact list of customers.

Take the contract role - you either like it or don't like it, or they extend or serve notice, but then you just get the next contract.⭐️ Gold Star ContractorComment

I'd say it's even simpler - why look at perm if you want to be a contractor?Originally posted by PerfectStorm View PostTake the contract role - you either like it or don't like it, or they extend or serve notice, but then you just get the next contract. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't existComment
