Anyone have a rough idea of what are typical salaries for such a role (London rates) working for a third-party in a client facing role with banks, government ministries, etc. It's very specialized software. I've seen generic software implementation roles at around £50-£75K and wondering if a similar range would apply or not.

1. Your experience
2. Who the third party is
3. How specialised it actually is. If it's used by banks (plural) and government ministries (plural), it doesn't sound that specialised. Are there more than 10 people in the country that know how to implement it?…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Then that 10 will become 100+ very quickly.
Have you asked the vendor what they'll pay?
Your 3 years with that software is not going to get you much in the way of salary though. If you have 10+ years of related experience then you're talking. I'd say around £60k as it's London.See You Next TuesdayComment
