    First contract - opt out?

I am in the process of signing the documents for my first contract. One of them is an opt out clause. I have read online that this is worthless if I have already been introduced to the client (which I have obviously!) - is there any IR35 related risk to not opting out of the regulations? Or should I just stick to opting in and leave it be.

Also my assignment schedule seems to indicate the daily rate but not the hours (how many would I be working? 7? 8? it doesn't say) - is that normal?

    Thank you

    it's immaterial to IR35

what do you think constitutes a working day?
Yes it's normal. Do 37.5 hours a week minimum to charge 5 days. Mix that up as you see fit as you're not being directed and controlled are you? (are you?)
