Somehow this shower of scumbags have got hold of a database which is about 10 years old.

I have never subscribed to them, but they have an old CV/address for me. Their unsubscribe doesn't work.

I've blacklisted one of their emails addresses, but would advise you that if you get an email from them, good luck in stopping them spamming you.

They are run by Mark Goldberg who was involved in Vertifi (currently in liquidation) and several other similar businesses.

Just wait until May, Mr Goldberg, just wait...

(And very pleased to hear about Vertifi as well. https://www.asa.org.uk/rulings/verti...15-300289.html )

Everytime you refresh your cv on -I have the feeling it is Jobsite-, (thought it was technojobs first but after I closed my account there it continued) you're illegally re-enrolled They have it seems tons of different email addresses/domains. Every time I unsubscribe and mark their email as spam, they will send jobs from another email

I got an email too, under the guise of asking you to confirm you are happy for them to have your data

I seem to recognise at least one name on there and have had a number of GDPR mails from agents I've never heard off. Didn't take much notice so not sure who they are.

ACTION : We told Vertifi Ltd to ensure that future marketing emails were only sent to recipients for whom they held evidence of the appropriate consent.

If you look at the number of liquidated/dissolved companies for Mr Goldberg and the others, it makes you wonder if they are taking a database from one company, sharing it with the others and treating us like Americans, where there's no requirement to remove people from databases or to have them opted in to receive particular mails

You'd think so wouldn't you, particularly with the ASA ruling. He's been caught and you can bet everything it's the tip of the iceberg.

That said now ASA have told him to stop I am sure he will be quivering in his boots and has ceased all dodgy carry ons

Guess we all need to start complaining to the information commissioner.
