And if you don't have a scanner, Camscanner will do the same thing on your phone.

You all helped me through it, I couldn't have done it without you all. I want to thank my parents, my family and most of all, God.

              Come, come now.

It worked and the OP learned something today.

              So it's all good.

I don't want other people to be put off posting questions on here that we may think are dumb, but they need an answer to.

Someone sounds like they are getting a bit big for their boots and forgetting who they are. You are the supplier, they are the client. Not sure things have changed that much that suppliers dictate clients requirements, legal or not.

That said calling them the 'employer's so many times makes me think you need to rethink the whole 9 yards. When you have the basics right maybe then you can stomp your boots.

                  Camscanner?

Is that an app over and above just using the phone to take a photo?
Not sure how many documents I've submitted where, if you look carefully, my carpet is around the edges.

It's quite handy actually. It does a reasonably good job of detecting the document edges and cropping/skewing it so it's all straight, then save and email as a PDF.

Without trying to go off track, there's Scanbot as well. Tried Camscanner but thought Scanbot worked better. I even bought the paid version, the only app I've ever bought
