    Hyperlinks in CVs

This might be a daft question but do you include hyperlinks in your CVs?

For instance embed a URL in company names pointing to their websites.

Most CVs are still printed off. If you want to showcase a portfolio make it a portfolio.

A few case studies of my work and links to businesses.

Why not, it's like an Easter egg for the lucky!

i once delivered a project that recieved some positive press coverage in IT publications, so i hyperlinked that in my CV, don't think anyone ever clicked on it though, as Agents simply call you after you hit the key words and flash up on their searches and the few interviews i've been on since no-ones ever asked or followed up

The answer is NO, but it got me thinking...

Why not put a QR code on it, so they just need to use their phone/tablet's camera to take them to a website.

Just make sure you get it right.

No. I certainly wouldn't read them. If you've worked somewhere I didn't know about, I'd ask you in more detail what they did, what you did there and how you improved what they did.

I am going to buck the trend here and I put a link to my LinkedIn page on my CV which gives reference to my recommendations. It is the only hyperlink I include.

I would never really link anything else to my CV.
