No, as unless you are approaching clients directly an agent will strip out anything they don't want and then stick it on their header paper.

If you are approaching directly I would assume you have some sort of relationship already so contact back to you has already been established through email etc. why drive them to your website when they have your email already.

I suppose you could put a web location in your details section, but yeah, I expect an agency would remove that stuff when they sent on your CV

Why not put a QR code on it, so they just need to use their phone/tablet's camera to take them to a website.

Just make sure you get it right.

        ...but still, NO.
QR codes are largely useless - hardly anyone has a barcode scanner app and even less are bothered enough to open in to scan it.

          Mildly incorrect, in my experience.

My local cricket club has QR Codes at the bottom of the signs and on the back of the fixtures card. These link to pages on the website, and having looked at the stats for those pages we are getting a reasonable volume of hits from them.

Most people I know have barcode scanner aps, whether it is to check prices, remember wine drunk in restaurants, etc. They are quite useful.

QR codes appear to be used extensively in the States. I was rather surprised to see them on many adverts, even billboards. I have a QR reader app on my phone, but I think I fire it up once a year and then it doesn't do much but open a webpage.

Giving URL to personal Ltd website at interview?

Given the agencies strip out personal info incl. website details etc from CVs, is it deemed acceptable etiquette to hand over a business card at interview and let the client know they can view more details on the Ltd co. website?

Unless you're a website designer, what's the point?

I'm a PM specialising in web replatforming and enhancment projects with a strong focus on usability.

So the 'Before & After' images of my previous client's websites together with testimonials re. increased ROI sell my skills better than an hour's interview blathering.

So you're involved in website development. Ultimately, do you think that the potential client would look at the website when deciding who to chose? Given that I work in BI, I doubt it for me, but if your job relates to something that the client things is useful then yes.
