Funny, in my experience the vast majority of agents would drag their ball-sack over 3 miles of broken glass on the off chance of being able to sniff my fart through a tube if they were guaranteed their 12%I'm a smug bastard. -

In my experience rec. agents get rather pissed off when you don't complete the full contract until they see more £ signs
and they do not maintain a black list with your name in it and let other agencies submit you to the client and lose out on money
greedy lot these agents.Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment

even if you'd spit roast they're mother and sister in a foursome in their bed previously (and shat in the bed as well)....Originally posted by LucidDementia View PostFunny, in my experience the vast majority of agents would drag their ball-sack over 3 miles of broken glass on the off chance of being able to sniff my fart through a tube if they were guaranteed their 12%Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment

Gonna be interesting once T&S rules kick in. I have a horrible feeling a lot of 'contractors' are going to be taking any gig to get of the bench and dumping them when a gig comes up closer to home so it's going to get a whole lot worse.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

Possibly although it may depend on personal versus gig location.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostGonna be interesting once T&S rules kick in. I can't see me ditching a lucrative London gig for one back in Manchester just because it's 20-30 minutes from home. It's more about continuity for me.The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't existComment

I've started a thread on it in the Future of Contracting forum but assuming rates are kinda of similar for the two the London gig will cost you a lot more with the T&S rules in so it ceases to become a lucrative gig compare to the local one.Originally posted by LondonManc View PostPossibly although it may depend on personal versus gig location.

The problem is the rates are massively different.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostI've started a thread on it in the Future of Contracting forum but assuming rates are kinda of similar for the two the London gig will cost you a lot more with the T&S rules in so it ceases to become a lucrative gig compare to the local one.
£350 PD in Manchester is good, less can be the norm.
Up to £650 PD, in London, is achievable.
Obviously, IB pay more generally. The Chunt of Chunts.Comment
