Well, if that's the same job (which it looks like it is), then it's gone from the ITJobBoard. Never thought to check that, will have to remember that one.
It is company policy to only advertise roles that we have agreement with end clients to work. So if this isn't the case we will deal with it accordingly.

If you hadn't just posted an acknowledgement here, and had just chosen to private message me only (I am assuming that you have just private messaged ME of course, and no one else), then you would have been berated by me more than your about to be.
Contents of your private message to me:
"In the spirit of innocent until proved guilty I will reserve judgment.
But on the face of it a cheap, stupid and ridiculous thing to do"
You may think it slightly unfair that I have just posted on here the contents of your private message to me, however I hold absolutely no loyalty to ANY agency whatsoever, and don't see (apart from the fact that I was the one who originally flagged it up), why you couldn't have just posted here, what you sent to me in a private message.
It would have been almost as though you were trying to deal with this issue 'on the quiet' so to speak.
I don't see any harm in posting the private message (like I just have done), because it doesn't contain anything personal at all, and TBH, this 'fake' job posting tactic is (I think you yourself will admit), a very common practice (or perhaps was?) by a large number of agencies, so it is in the public interest for the jobseeker to be fully aware of this practice.
I wouldn't bother posting any further private messages to me about this, as really it should be posted in this thread anyway, for all to see.
And as for your company policy.... well, there's a BIG difference between that and what ACTUALLY goes on.
Cojak - I apologise if you feel that it was improper of me to have posted the contents of Andy's private message to me on this thread, however I don't feel that any harm has been done, and as stated above, it is VERY MUCH in the public interest.
Clicking on that link takes you to a 'this job has now been filled!' page on their website. So it must have been a real role, all you doubters hang your heads in shame

A policy no one at CF follows if my experience is anything to go by...
