Yep its absoultely awful for months now as we discussed here recently. I do not see it changing much either anytime soon companies are only hiring if they have to for essential roles or headcount replacements. The agencies are feeling the squeeze as well but mainstream media is bypassing the slump as UK is doing "well" (if you call creating more zero hours or part time roles well that is!!). I have not seen it this bad since early 2008

Its is highs and lows, and changes each week. Overall it hasn't picked up greatly since the holiday season.Comment

totally agree, been pretty poor...
I took 6 months off this year and thought coming back in September would be ideal, turns out it's been a fair ol battle to secure a contract...
I am not looking forward to the next 15 years, and might jump back to permie.....Comment
