I was making a point that not everyone has that so permie salary starts to look attractive. You can't just compare a yearly salary to the day rate you are on.. I was approached for a permie job last year, I wasn't interested and the youngster on the phone badgered me to name a number - so I did. He then proceeded to tell me that wasn't reasonable and tried to negotiate me down, it was a fun 20 mins sparring until he gave up
