"The role sounds ideal, but I've worked there before and I would rather look for new challenges than revisit old ground. " S̶o̶r̶r̶y̶,̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶n̶k̶s̶,̶ ̶b̶y̶e̶ What other roles are you working at the moment?".

slightly offtopic... I had an agency contact me today to see if I was interested in the role I am leaving.

They will then either have to ask for another copy of your CV as they don't have "all" the pages or bluff you back.

slightly offtopic... I had an agency contact me today to see if I was interested in the role I am leaving.

I had that in my last permie role.

I hadn't handed in my notice, either, but had an agent ring me to say that they had a job that would be ideal for me.
