If you're looking for a new role (as you might be soon given your other post), do you really want to close off an agent who might find you your next role?
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

I'm not the OP, but ok, how about:

"The role sounds ideal, but I've worked there before and I would rather look for new challenges than revisit old ground. " S̶o̶r̶r̶y̶,̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶n̶k̶s̶,̶ ̶b̶y̶e̶ What other roles are you working at the moment?".

"You've worked there before, you say, but I can't see them on your CV - when were you there?"

slightly offtopic... I had an agency contact me today to see if I was interested in the role I am leaving.

They will then either have to ask for another copy of your CV as they don't have "all" the pages or bluff you back.

Come on, you know they have never, ever read your cv anyway, that is even if they can read!

This will only work if you are not Suity/PV01.

I had that in my last permie role.

I hadn't handed in my notice, either, but had an agent ring me to say that they had a job that would be ideal for me.
