I had that in my last permie role.

I hadn't handed in my notice, either, but had an agent ring me to say that they had a job that would be ideal for me.

They will then either have to ask for another copy of your CV as they don't have "all" the pages or bluff you back.
This will only work if you are not Suity/PV01.

Come on, you know they have never, ever read your cv anyway, that is even if they can read!

I would like to not inform the agent that my CV is already there but don't know what else to say apart from "I am not interested thank you", which would work but seem odd if I am a good fit.

Especially where you can have 1, 2 and 3 tier w**nkers all taking a margin so it's always worth asking whether they are first tier w**nker and if they are not, put up your rate 15% right up front.

It's none of their business so you don't have to say anything. I normally say "I am going to respect the other agency's situation, as I would with yours if someone wanted to know what roles you have".

I often have agencies call about a role but I've already considered the role via a different agent. Be honest and straight and the agents will respect you. Don't lie, play it straight and don't give away info to other agencies. Simples
