            a) They are not jobs, they are contracts.
            b) Did you get your contract checked for IR35 before you started?

                Oh dear oh dear........

Another one for you then. Have you checked you have the right level of PI as contractually required?

You don't need to google. Everything you need to know including first timers info is in then links on the right hand side. You don't have HR to hold your hand anymore. It's completely down to you now and you are the one that is legally and financially responsible so better pull your finger out quickly.

It is impossible to do so as you will be reporting to my client.

What you need to learn - and it's worth knowing this now - that agents will say anything to get you started.

Lots of agency contracts have terms in them which are unfair, poorly worded so open to wide interpretation and could land inside IR35 or with other trouble.

I had exactly the same conversation with an agent recently whilst getting a D&C clause removed from my contract. My reply was:

"Consider it the same as an electrician. You would say to him, I want a socket there. You don't care what colour wiring they use, what the gague of the wire is, etc. (as long as it meets safety standards etc). You don't tell him how to do it. You just want a socket."
And the lord said unto John; "come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.
