I agree with you. I just want to do the job. At the moment I can't because it seems for some reason I've been flagged up as someone who doesnt fit in. Permie here- gives me nightmare just thinking about it.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

Have you considered that you are being Directed and Controlled now so your IR35 status is now in question?

I find it better if you try and get on with the permies, makes life much easier than appearing aloof and detached/withdrawn.

OP suggests they are following client procedures.

NLUK suggests that they are failing D&C.

Jumping to conclusions based on very limited information.

              HTH.

Ah I see. To be fair I wasn't suggesting he was or coming to any conclusions. I was asking if he has considered it.

Comments such as the comments below certainly make me think it's something the OP needs to consider.

Just a throwaway comment on D&C working practices going down the IR35 route when we don't even know if he's brolly or ltd.

I would work out the last few weeks and look around for another contract.

I know what people say about carry on and invoice and I agree to a certain point. But life is too short to work in tulipty places.

Second thoughts - if they keep on ordering you around, I would exercise my rights as a free citizen and go back to the hotel to have a beer, before going home.
