If only we had people who could harvest the produce once it's grown .... I wonder where we could get such an army of temporary workers?

Try reading the article, it contains a letter from the leaders of the food sector. They're the ones warning of food shortages following a disastrous brexit, not me

Maybe once you've finished educating the UK pharma industry, you can move to educating the food retailers about what they should be doing. You're clearly on top of all solutions you could be a real asset for UK Plc

And I bet those shortages will start before Mar 29.

At the moment, it's only a minority who are stock piling but as that cliff edge draws closer it could snowball.

"No deal" does not stop us buying from the EU, and if we don't impose additional customs checks and tariffs on lorries & planes (and we have no need to do so) there won't be additional delays. Exports will take a hit until the EU politicians start listening to their voters, but imports don't need to be affected. We'll have plenty of extra fish, so with a bit of imagination the whole nation should be that bit healthier.
