More Brexiteer Pie in the Sky. When will they connect with Reality!
Originally posted by TwoWolves View PostThis analogy that you've pulled out of your arse simply doesn't make any sense whatsoever. European countries need to trade with us, their economies will be severely disrupted if they can't - think man, two large agro-economies right on our doorstep. Think they will just let their food rot? Thousands of farmers go bust?

Is that really what you think? The UK is suddenly free to do whatever it wants, import dodgy stuff from anywhere, repackage it and drive it into the carefully developed EU Market? Treat its people badly and undercut the EU's social structure. Do you really think they will ignore all this? Because if you don't, then please enlighten us as to what exactly they might do

You lot think the EU are supermen, I've lived amoung them - they are impotent.

The EU is not Europe.
Nobody has said that they are supermen.
Calais have already said that they would wave transports through to the U.K. side, so exports from the EU (including relevant documentation and immigration searches) are not their problem. Imports are another matter.
You seem to agree that there will be barriers to trade and increased friction, but your solution to it is to ignore it all?Comment

The EU can't make Brexit easy for us, there are excruciating levels of dissent amongst their ranks as it is.
Any way out is going to take balls, bravado and winging it. Quite a bit of pain as well I can see you boys aren't up for it though.Comment
