I doubt most French, Polish, Austrian, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, etc people could actual give a sh*t how the UK leaves the EU. But there inudtrial leaders may have a different point of view.

On the radio they just say they'll stop ordering stuff from the UK and get it from elsewhere in the EU...sorted.

I'm afraid if you think the industrialists give a sh*t you are going to be disappointed.

It really isn't much of a topic.

        The following sums it up:

Brexit: Bundestag beschliesst Gesetz fur ungeordneten Ubergang - SPIEGEL ONLINE

basically states the German parliament has done all it's stuff if Britain crashes out tough sh*t. No industrialists banging at the doors.

The FDP have said there should be more customs officials, that's it.

Think about it - if the UK government had presented a united front to the EU they would be tulipting themselves

But given the shambolic idiots we have in Westminster they are just enjoying the comedy

The problem is not that we voted out - the problem is there are people in influnetial positions who want to stay in and are doing everything they can to derail any form of coherent leave plan.
There's your problem right there. Two years on (plus the previous 40 moaning about it) and the Leave side still don't have a coherent plan. All they can do is complain about everyone else's plan without being able to put one forward themselves.

Here's an experiment for you: Gove, Johnson, Fox, Davis, Raab, Patel, Rees-Mogg, Paterson, Farage. Which version of Leave would these 9 people all get behind and support 100%?

The problem with Brexit is that any version written down doesn't last from having a light shone on it.

Yep I don't doubt that the EU countries, particularly the Germans, are better organised and prepared for a no deal brexit. Afterall, we are still debating what type of brexit and we still have the fun and games of the upper house yet to join the panto.

Indeed I think Brexit will be delayed and in the end after a few months of argey bargey May's deal will go through. Indeed it might not even be May's deal, it might be Johnson's or Rees-Mogg's deal. The only difference would be they'd just use more jingoistic terms in the text. I reckon they would put in a verse of Rule Britannia.

              Think Trump, USCMA and NAFTA.

What is the difference between USCMA and NAFTA ?

Once you can answer that it will be clear where the EU deal is heading.

I don't necessarily disagree with anything you have said there. The only point I would take issue with is whether the EU allow us to extend A50. That is within the EU gift and the EU gift alone.

Be scared very scared Brexiteers and remainers agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                  This is interesting

Who does the UK trade with? - Office for National Statistics

Also, they can trade with other people in the EU instead of the UK - in fact if it is cheaper for them to do it then they should anyway.

No real point in a trading block when you are forced to get goods from one partner when you could get them cheaper from another.

It's difficult to trade with someone when they can't get their lorries over. The fact is Germany exports its goods on WTO rules to China and the US so it won't be a problem post Brexit to continue exporting to the UK. There's a difference between milk, cheese and meat rotting at the border and customers waiting a week a longer for their new BMW.
