Immigration was a key issue for the majority of Brexit voters; are you suggesting that those leave voters who see immigration as a key issue are racists?

If immigration was not a reason for you voting out, and clearly improving our economic situation can't be your reason given there is absolutely zero evidence that we will be better off as a nation under Brexit, then, can I ask, what the fook did you vote out for? Was it really just so that you could get a nice blue passport?

To answer your question, I can safely say that if we stay in Europe we will be no worse off and will have a major say in EU policy going forward (using our political, financial and right of veto influence) and can choose to guide any policy (as we have always done) to the betterment of UK citizens. Leaving, it is painfully obvious, will make many many UK citizens worse off. If we sary in will we be better off than today, not necessarily, but will we be better off than if we leave, then yes absolutely.

Now come on dear fellow, pray tell exactly why you voted out and how you believe the UK will be better off. And please, no reference to buses, JRM's magic money tree or any other such made up gubbins. Show us, neigh convince us, how we will be better off under Brexit than staying in the EU.
Erm call me Dave tried to negotiate - got laughed out of the EU if a recall and was the major reason for the referendum - os when you say we would have had a say in EU policy I say unlikely - we may have been able to vote for things but the votes will often be rigged to get the result that Junker and his mates wanted.

In terms of taking back control of our borders - that is more to do with removing the excuses our politicians have for not taking control of the borders - they would always maintain it was the fault of the EU and that we had to take all these immigrants - when we know this was not true.

Immigration is fine and is good for a country, uncontrolled immigration of hundreds of thousands of people who have been displaced by a war that potentially could be blamed on Europe is not.

All the points against Brexit seem to be based purely on 'money' in that some of you may suddenly be worse of or cannot work anywhere in Europe you want - you have to recognise you are in a huge, vast minority.

Will it affect 'the poor' yes probably but will they be any worse off than if we were in the EU - probably not at all.

    Will jobs be lost? Yes

    Will jobs be created? Yes

    Will the world end? No

Which is why big businesses want to stay in the EU. They can have all the cheap labour they want, and carry on selling at the usual high prices. Of course this means they have to keep labour costs down in Eastern Europe, and if and when that strategy fails they'll all have a mahoosive problem.
Nobody much cares about any of that right now, the politicians and business leaders will have moved on or retired with large pension pots long before any real excrement hits the fan.

        Eh?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Alright, just to humour the hard of thinking:
It may be cheaper to build JLR cars in Slovakia now, but what the fook happens when it isn't cheaper? Who's doing the planning for that, and what are they doing to make sure it doesn't happen (or at least, doesn't happen on their watch)?

Just another 'Eh?' here for you as I don't think you've thought this through properly along with your previous post...

I'm from the Black Country. My family and many of my old school friends still live in the Black Country. The majority of them voted out. The majority are also openly racist on social media. It doesn't surprise me one bit.

Why does every thread on here end up focusing on colour. It's disgraceful.

Are you seriously saying that you believe the problems we have today are caused by our useless politicians, and not the EU, but to prove this you want to come out of the EU? You're advocating removing something that isn't the cause and isn't that bad (yes, I know it's not perfect, but it isn't the cause of many of our ills) just to highlight the bad?

Why not just remove the bad instead. Replace our useless politicians with news ones. Stop voting for the 2 main parties and instead vote for independents.

I despair at the stupidity of people in this country.

I bet if a pair of shoes start to leak and make your feet wet, rather than replacing them for a pair that works, you would rather chop off your foot to keep it dry.

I have - the entire business model of the EU is built on cheap labour. There are two kinds of people who don't like that. The anti-immigration leavers who resent the large scale importation of cheap labour, and those who resent paying membership fees to an organisation which allows large companies to relocate to wherever labour is cheapest at the time.
You can decide for yourself which category I come under.
