I'm white, male, heterosexual, English, wealthy, live in Switzerland,A+ blood group, and have Irish, French, German, Viking, Swiss and French heritage. I've counted my privileges and come to the conclusion I'm awesome.

I'm not proud of being white however. My superiority to everyone else on the planet has nothing to do with my skin colour.

Being proud of being black only makes sense if having a dark skin has been a source of shame in certain cultures for centuries. Such a thing could never happen in this day and age.
