Because if you don't bother to do your job, you can't complain that your voice wasn't heard, you can't say that you didn't try to make a difference.
Instead, it's about blaming "them" rather than doing something.
What did Farage achieve in his job? Nothing. He didn't go to work, he didn't do his job, but he still thinks he deserves to get paid and he preaches that there was no point in him trying. Talk about a traitor! He disrespected his constituents. He failed in doing his job as an elected representative. All he did was complain about other people who actually bothered to turn up and work.
He is a lazy benefits cheat, stealing off those of us who are hard working tax payers and taking the job of someone who might have turned up.- Nobody ever guaranteed they would turn up, see below.
- Debating? Sure, and according to greenpeace, at least 5 UKIP members were present during the 3 major votes.
- Voting? If you look at the numbers on the link previously provided - it would be moot, (UKIP hold 10 votes, each of the 3 major votes totals were: 502, 620, 473 - so MOOT).
- Lastly, it was committee votes, not MEP plenary votes was it not?, so no need to lay it on so thick with the reference to democracy.
Did you read the UKIP manifesto?
Have the failed on their pledges?
They explicitly state that "Others spend more time back here, spreading the word and campaigning to get us out." - so just because you dislike him, dislike his style and his actions (or lack thereof) - it can be said that UKIP have been true to their word.......it's just not the normal political machinations that's all.

So, they said they'd do XYZ, did XYZ and you call him a traitor?
Much easier to believe what the press say, without doing any research of your own eh?
(I didn't even vote UKIP, but google is great)Originally posted by Old GregI admit I'm just a lazy, lying cretinous hypocrite and must be going deaf♕Keep calm & carry on♕Comment

No, I mean a lot of snowflakes like to reference that exact website, so they won't attack the source.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostWhen you say 'official', do you mean 'real'?
Both values are real, but one of them requires a qualifier.

Did you read the UKIP manifesto?
Some of their more outlandish claims (the famous 2010 manifesto primarily):
Clamping down on foreigners in football teams
"Ukip feels the [lack of success of British teams] is largely a legacy of many British teams having too few British players in the team, and teams like Arsenal have taken to the field in the recent past with none whatsoever … Ukip would place a maximum of three foreign players in the starting line-up, as this would free up places for British players in the youth academies of these teams and spur the future development of home teams." (2010 manifesto)
Better dress in theatres
"Ukip will encourage a return to proper dress for major hotels, restaurants and theatres – smarter dress is part of Britishness, although it is also a British virtue to encourage innovation in fashion.". (2010 manifesto)
Making the Circle line on the Underground a Circle
"Ukip will return London's Circle line to a circle – the complete circular service recently stopped. We will build grade-separated junctions to improve the number of trains and their reliability at Edgware Road, Gloucester Road and Aldgate." (2010 manifesto)
“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

Precisely.Originally posted by woohoo View PostTrade deals are not always beneficial, sometimes is best to not have them.
Regardless, it will be the responsibility of the UK to negotiate our trade deals, not the EU, which for many people is the point.
